PC Guide
Basically, I'm following the lead of the SCP game (but with my own screencaps and wording).
Step 1:
After logging into the relevant journal, I typically take a long way (since I've yet to bother with memorizing the URL):

Step 2:
As you can see, there's one more link after clicking on that drop-down. All I have to do is click that bad boy.

[ Futaba voice: ] We're in! Now, I just have to click on the specified option below, so that I can come up with a fitting name for my filter.
Step 3:

Step 4:

... I mean.
Step 5:

As you can see, the list of journal names that I've given access to (with the respective journal) has popped up in the "Denied" column. This means that they won't be able to see any entries that I grant access to with my shiny new filter.
Step 6:

With the appropriate Disaster Children™ added into the right column (thus, getting removed from the left), the filter is complete- oh, wait! We're not done, here!
Step 7:

The most important step of all is always to save the progress, right? Forgetting this would mean having to start from the first step, the second I leave the page. But, with that done, the filter has been made. Now to use it:
Step 8:

Post! That! Entry!
Step 9:

Filling out the post is pretty simple; I usually do a title that makes it easy to remember what these particular PCs are for (i.e. filter name, character name, game name). The body is always dependent on how long the game will be: lengthier games + lengthier CR = more toplevels, and so linking the weeks becomes helpful. Using fitting tags helps, too.
NOTE: I will ALWAYS recommend putting the week number in the subject line and doing a single toplevel for each week. A catchall for specific CR is heavily recommended, too. It assists in avoiding a cluttered journal.
Step 10:

Do NOT forget to tell the post who should see it! It can't read minds!!!
Step 11:

Once this is done, you can click on post! And, if you're the extra careful type, DW has you covered.
Step 12:

For starters, it should specify right out the door that only your filtered group can see it. But, if that piece of flashing sign is missed, there's always:
Step 13:

If it says this, it should be in the clear (sometimes, DW does screw up, after all)! Now that this is done, it's off to make the toplevels and get those secrets threaded!
