A copy of this is pasted on every door of every home, as well as on practically every building:

Survive.

01. No stealing from one another. If you're caught stealing, you will be punished.
02. Stay away from the waterfall, and avoid the path to the left of it.
03. There needs to be total silence after 11 PM. Be in your house before 11PM, or else you're sleeping wherever you are at that time.
04. Avoid the large vines near the mushrooms at all times. Those vines can and will kill you.
05. Do not go into the forest. If you're caught in the forest, you will be executed.
06. Avoid wearing anything red.
07. No bathing in the water below the falls - we eat the fish from here.
08. Only deaths on Thursday nights or Friday mornings will count towards earning a reward for the players.
09. Trials are now limited to 4 hours.
10. Executions will be done by a randomly chosen participant.
